We hope that the new Labor Government will deliver on its promise to undertake the feasibility study for Preston High this year. Given the Vic Education Department's annual operating budget sits at around $12 billion per year, we don't expect the $100K for the study (less than 0.0008% of the budget) is asking too much for the kids in Preston. We are meeting with Robin Scott (our local MP and Minister for Finance) tomorrow to ensure it's in the May 2015 Budget.

  1. We hope the new Labor Government follows through on its promise to conduct the Preston High feasibility study this year. With the Vic Education Department’s $12 billion budget, allocating $100K for this study is a small but crucial investment in Preston’s kids. Tomorrow, we’ll meet with Robin Scott to push for its inclusion in the May 2015 Budget. Ensuring proper funding for education is essential for community growth.
